Many years ago, during the covid pandemic, Bruna and Carol were separated by an ocean (Bruna lives in Amsterdam and Carol lives in São Paulo). In this secluded time, the sisters would video call to stay connected and found themselves wondering why they had never collaborated on a project. Bruna is an artist/graphic designer, and carol is a poet/journalist. So they birthed Cartografias: a collection of Carol's poetry with design by Bruna. The poems and illustrations are connected to topography and natural landscapes as metaphors for human emotions or experiences. Having always lived across the world from each other, it makes sense that their first zine would involve geographical elements. Take a dive into the pool of their collective minds.
